Notes: The signed, limited edition of this story of a boy raised by ghosts in a cemetary. Winner of the Newberry Award, the Hugo Award, the Locus young adult award, and the Carnegie Medal (Britain's top children's book award).

This is one of 500 numbered copies, signed by Gaiman and McKean, who provided full-color and two-color illustrations, including a fold-out frontispiece. McKean designed covers for Gaiman's Sandman graphic novels.

Edition + Condition: A near fine copy in a two-part binding of black cloth and marbled paper-covered boards. There is a bit of glue residue on the rear board. In a black-cloth slipcase that has some surface scuffing—the usual shelfwear for this title. This is copy 8, which formerly belonged to Tom Garner's lifetime subscription to Sub Press.
