Edition + Condition: First edition (first printing, with a numberline ending in 1 on the copyright page). Slight spine lean, flaking to the spine lettering, and some spotting to the rear board, thus a very good copy in a near fine, only slightly spine-faded dust jacket. Signed by Hillerman on the title page and on a small black-and-white portrait photograph which is laid in. This copy comes from the collection of the late Tom Garner and it is housed in his typical custom black clamshell box.
