Notes: One of 100 signed, numbered copies in a padded leather binding, with gilt edges, bound not unlike the so-called "coffin" edition of The Stand. The binding is supposedly leather with marbled paper endpapers and interior decorations by William Stout.

xxxiv, 899 pages. 7-1/4 by 10-1/2 inches. More than 5 pounds, not counting the substantial clamshell case. Perhaps the most impressive Matheson limited edition. The total edition was 1250 copies in various bindings.

Edition + Condition: First edition (first printing of this collection). A fine copy in a fine clamshell box. Signed by Matheson on the limitation page. This is no. 81, from the collection of Tom Garner.
