Both Signed
Bradbury Speaks: Too Soon from the Cave, Too Far from the Stars [Trade + Proof]
Publication: New York: William Morrow, 2005. First Edition.
Notes: Described on the jacket as "essays on the past, the future, and everything in between."
This is a pair of books, the first edition and the uncorrected proof in blue printed wrappers, both signed.
Proof: xii, 243, [9: blank]; trade: xii, 243, [1] pages.
Edition + Condition: First edition (first printing, with a numberline ending in 1). A fine copy in a fine dust jacket, signed by Bradbury on the front free endpaper. The proof is near fine, with a bent upper corner affecting a few of the preliminary pages. The proof is signed and dated on the title page. Bradbury's hand was pretty shaky and the year might be 2005 or 2007.
These books come from the collection of Tom Garner and are housed in one of his custom black-cloth clamshell boxes which is bumped at one corner. A nice pair.
