Notes: Centipede Press's debut publication, signed by both King and photographer Jerry Uelsmann, presenting King's vampire novel with surreal duotone photographs bound in throughout, including one on the front board.

This edition expands King's second novel with both related short stories ("Jerusalem's Lot" and "One for the Road"), fifty pages of deleted scenes, and a new afterword by King. The massive book showcases Uelsmann's photographs in 300-line duotone reproductions. The total edition comprised 315 copies numbered in black ink, plus 65 additional copies, and 600 unsigned copies.

Edition + Condition: Near fine with spine fading (a common condition issue with the black Japanese cloth binding). Signed by King and Uelsmann on the colophon. The slipcase shows a narrow band of fading along the opening.
