Notes: The deluxe issue of Centipede Press's inaugural publication, bound in full goatskin with deckle-edged paper and signed by both King and photographer Jerry Uelsmann.

This Roman-numeraled edition, limited to 25 copies, 15 of which were for sale, is one of the smallest issues of any Stephen King limited edition. In addition to the novel's text, it includes both related short stories ("Jerusalem's Lot" and "One for the Road"), fifty pages of deleted scenes, and a new afterword. The massive volume features Uelsmann's surreal photographs reproduced in 300-line duotone, including one mounted to the front board.

566 pages and over 13 inches tall.

Edition + Condition: A fine copy in a somewhat spine-faded folding clamshell box (the black cloth being notably light sensitive). Signed by King and Uelsmann on colophon. Provenance: Tom Garner collection, with original order confirmation letter and two production update printouts laid in.
