The book presents 71 paintings illustrated in full color,with descriptive text on the facing page and about 80 more works of Chinese painting from the 1980s, reproduced in color, 6 to a page. An interesting look at that period in Chinese art.
The cover design is based on a calligraphy work by Wu Zuoren; the print is pencil numbered but not hand signed or chopped by Wu.
Edition + Condition: First edition (first printing). Some wear to the corners, thus very good in a like dust jacket. This copy is inscribed by Hefner. The print is no. 207 of 250 and is near fine, with minor wear to the corners.
