Notes: One of a small number of copies of the limited edition reissue of this award-winning dystopian novel with a mistake in the numbering.

This limited edition adds two related short stories and a new author's introduction to Bacigalupi's acclaimed debut novel about genetic engineering and climate change in 23rd-century Thailand. Although numbered as copy 8 of 500, a letter from Subterranean Press explains that this should have been number 208, as the first 200 copies were meant to be special leather-bound copies.

Edition + Condition: A fine copy in a fine dust jacket and near fine slipcase, signed by Bacigalupi. This was the lifetime subscription copy of noted collector Tom Garner.
