Notes: This is one of two copies designated "author copy" on the colophon of this collection of short stories. The title story was previously unpublished.

This author's copy has the same format as the lettered copies, including the main book, a second short book printing an alternate ending to The Disappeared, and an original drawing by Glenn Chadbourne matted to the inside front cover of the traycase.

Edition + Condition: First edition (first printing). Both books are fine; without jackets, as issued. The traycase is near fine with a bit of splitting to the hinge and minor bumping to the corners. The Chadbourne drawing, in a paper frame in the lid to the traycase, is fine, and is the original drawing for the illustation on page 219.
