Scissors [Signed, Lettered Author's Copy]
Publication: Baltimore, MD: Cemetery Dance, 2004. First Edition.
Notes: A multi-generational tale of torture.
This is the lettered issue (limited to 26 copies), in a traycase with additional color illustrations. It is designated "PC" instead of having a letter. This was one of Garton's copies—the collector Tom Garner acquired several such books directly from the author. Garton inscribed this book with a joke, referring to Garner's career as a defense attorney: "For Tom—the worst lawyer in Texas! Ray Garton."
This is the first edition of the book; it was reissued later by a trade paperback publisher.
Illustrated by Alan Clark. 336 pages.
Edition + Condition: First edition (first printing). A fine copy in a fine dust jacket and a very near fine traycase with a touch of wear to the corners. Very scarce inscribed.
