Ernest Franklin was a Navajo artist who liked embellishing Hillerman's books with drawings reflecting Native culture.
In this novel, Joe Leaphorn searches for a rare Navajo rug.
Edition + Condition: First edition (first printing, with a numberline ending in 1). A fine copy in a fine dust jacket. Signed by Hillerman on the title page and by Franklin in his drawing. In a black slipcase, as issued.
