Edition + Condition: First edition (stated first printing). A near fine copy (light wear to bottom of boards) in a jacket that is bumped at the spine ends and has a bit of loss at the corners. This copy comes from the publisher's library, with their bookplate on the front pastedown. It is signed by Stone on the title page; a signed publicity photo of Stone, issued for this book, is laid in. Uncommon with the photograph, especially signed.
Provenance: From Ken Lopez Bookseller (his KL code pencilled on the half-title page) to the late Texas collector Tom Garner.
