Edition + Condition: First UK edition (first printing with a numberline ending in 1). Pages beginning to tan, as usual, else a very near fine copy in a like dust jacket. This copy is inscribed on the title page, "To Tom" and signed by Simmons; it formerly belonged to the late Tom Garner, who had a substantial Simmons collection. The UK hardcover edition is somewhat uncommon signed.
