Robinson contributes seventeen plates, eight of which are full color tipped to mounts with gilt borders.

Edition + Condition: First illustrated edition. A very good to near fine copy in original half vellum-style paper over light gray-green paper. There are olive green morocco spine labels; the top edge is gilt; the other edges are untrimmed. The spine ends are somewhat bumped and the vellum has darkened, as usual. This is copy 35 of 125, signed by Kipling on the limitation page.
