Edition + Condition: First edition (stated). A near fine copy in a spine-faded jacket missing the top inch or so of the front flap. Technically, you could call this price-clipped, since the price is all that's gone, but it's an extreme version of the practice. This copy is inscribed to Johnson's friend, the novelist Chris Offutt: "For Chris from Denis Johnson—the coolest guy you'll ever meet." There are ink smudges below the inscription.
