The novel is the story of a man in a neural health facility who believes that his life is a movie produced by God; as he regains his memory, he tries to find a happy ending by reconciling with his estranged wife. This, the author's first book, is not particularly common on the market.
Edition + Condition: First edition (first edition stated with a numberline ending in 1). A fine copy in a very near fine dust jacket. Inscribed on the front free endpaper by the author, "To Susan, All my best M. Q." The initials are decorative and large, a style Quick sometimes uses.
