Edition + Condition: First edition (stated). A fine copy in an attractive dust jacket with some creasing and short tears along the edges.
This copy belonged to the H. P. Lovecraft collector James Strand. In the 1950s, he bought mystery fiction, like this, new. With Strand's posthumous estate bookplate on the front pastedown.
