Sebastian Moran was the second-most dangerous criminal in London, after Moriarty. This is the first collection of Derleth's Sherlock Holmes pastiches.

Edition + Condition: First edition (first and only Arkham House printing). A fine, tight copy in a very good dust jacket with short tears at the top of the spine and wear to the edges. With the Lovecraft-inspired letterpress bookplate of the James Strand estate on the front pastedown.
This copy came from the important Arkham House collection assembled by James Strand of Portland, Oregon. After his death, in August 2023, his house was looted and most of his books were stolen. Some were subsequently recovered by the FBI. This book was among those not taken by thieves.
