Edition + Condition: First edition (stated). A fine copy in a fine jacket with minute color breaks at the lower edge. With the Lovecraft-inspired letterpress bookplate of the James Strand estate on the front pastedown.

This copy came from the important Arkham House collection assembled by James Strand of Portland, Oregon. After his death, in August 2023, his house was looted and most of his books were stolen. This copy was recovered by the FBI from a storage unit in Oregon City and it includes the original evidence tag.
