Edition + Condition: First edition (first and only printing). A fine, tight copy in a fine dust jacket but for a bump at the base of the spine. With the Lovecraft-inspired letterpress bookplate of the James Strand estate on the front pastedown.
This copy came from the important Arkham House collection assembled by James Strand of Portland, Oregon. After his death, in August 2023, his house was looted and most of his books were stolen. This is one of the copies recovered by the FBI, with the original evidence tag laid in.
