Notes: Stephen King's fourth book (originally published in 1977), a school shooting thriller that he no longer allows to be republished. It was published as a massmarket paperback original in both the US and the UK. The British version is much scarcer than the American.
According to the essay, Why I Was Bachman, King began writing the novel called Getting It On, which ultimately became Rage, while he was still in high school.

Edition + Condition: First UK edition (first printing with "First NEL Paperback Edition February 1983" on the copyright page). Small smudge and faint letter S on the front cover, else very near fine. Unread. This copy is priced "$4.50 NEW" in pencil on the first page. Your cataloguer has also seen copies with a $4.50 price sticker. Presumably since the book was out of print in the US by 1983 some enterprising book wholesaler imported copies.
