This issue was prepared for a booksellers' convention and is bound in black wrappers similar to the first printing dust jacket, but with a different rear cover giving the publication date (November 19, 1984) and the first print run, 50,000 (probably exaggerated).

Edition + Condition: Light wear and creasing to edged. Spine wrinkled. Indentation of name and address written on the back cover. Publisher's sheet laid in describing "Bachman" as "an incredibly talented writer."
