Notes: A novel of Western gunfighters, issued in a 75-copy limited edition. The limited edition was created by adding a rubberstamped limitation notice to the front blank of copies of the first trade printing.

While McMurtry owned a large bookstore in Archer City, he didn't typically sell his own books. Instead, he arranged for the nearby Three Dog Books to offer them for sale instead. For a number of years, they issued these signed limited editions with each new McMurtry book.

Edition + Condition: First edition (first printing). A fine copy in a fine dust jacket. Signed by the author on the limitation page; number 15 of 75. In the optional matching book box by Robert Wang. Uncommon in the slipcase.
