Edition + Condition: First edition (first printing). A very good copy in a very good dust jacket, fading at the spine, with small chips and tears at the edges. Small star shape printed in ink on the front flap.
This copy is inscribed to Victor J. Hammer, the gallerist brother of Armand. Inscribed on the halftitle, "To Victor Ludwig. 1962" with a drawing of an anchor. Signed a second time, "Ludwig 1962" on the back (verso) of the frontispiece. With Victor J. Hammer's ownership signature at the top of the halftitle page.
