Unlike most books by Bemelmans, the author of the Madeline series of children's picture books, this one is not illustrated.

Edition + Condition: First edition (stated). A very good or better copy in a like dust jacket. This copy is signed on a tipped-in page for the Kroch's & Brentano's first edition circle, with their bookmark laid in. The jacket has a few short tears to the bottom edge.
