Edition + Condition: First edition (first printing). A fine hardcover copy; no dust jacket, as issued. In a very good slipcase, with some discoloration and minor chipping to the edges of the paper label. Inscribed by the author and subject to Fletcher and Dorothy Markle. Fletcher was an actor, producer, and writer in Hollywood. In the late 1960s, he hosted the TV series "Telescope," which featured Ray Bradbury in 1968 during the filming of The Illustrated Man. This copy has Markle's bookplate plus Bradbury's inscription, "For Dorothy & Fletcher with affectionate good wishes from Ray Bradbury. May 19, 1978." A nice Hollywood association.
