Notes: A nice set of the US and UK first editions of this Jim Chee novel, housed in a custom clamshell box.

The US edition is fine in a near fine, very slightly faded dust jacket, signed by Hillerman on the front free endpaper.

The UK edition has a tanned page block, as usual, but is otherwise fine in a fine dust jacket. It is signed by Hillerman on the title page and has an ink-and-pastel drawing by the Navajo artist Ernest Franklin added to the half-title page.

Edition + Condition: First editions (first printings, with a numberline ending in 1 on the copyright page [US] and no additional printings noted [UK]). Nice copies from the collection of Tom Garner.
