Notes: A presentation copy of the first separate appearance of King's revenge tale, bound in the deluxe quarter leather format and housed in a slipcase.

Originally serialized in Castle Rock newsletter and later collected in Nightmares & Dreamscapes, this story became the basis for the 2009 Christian Slater film. This copy is specially designated in type as a "Presentation copy" and matches the binding style of the 250-copy limited edition, rather than the standard 1,000-copy issue in quarter cloth.

Edition + Condition: First edition. A fine copy in a very good slipcase that shows a half-inch fading strip at opening. Signed by King on half-title page. From the Tom Garner collection. The book fits quite snugly in the slipcase.
