Edition + Condition: First edition (stated). A very good copy in a very good dust jacket (light shelf wear). This copy is inscribed, "For Lee Anderson, with all good wishes on the first occasion of our meeting at Bennington, 19.iv.58. Howard Nemerov."

Lee Anderson recorded Nemerov reading that day and the next and donated his recordings to the Library of Congress where they are part of the Archive of Recorded Poetry and Literature. Anderson recorded many poets beginning in the 1950s and his recordings became the basis of the Yale Series of Recorded Poets.
