Typescript, handwritten titles and initials, illustrations, and decorative borders reproduced on coarse brown papers, stapled and glued to brown paper covers. Some illustrations and captions in the text employ mounted white and colored paper cutouts and black yarn "cords." Covers are decorated with a title collage of colored papers and black tissue paper and incorporate an illustrated, moveable red apple, a broken arrow (a broken wooden dowel tied together with black yarn and topped with a black paper tip), and paper wings that wrap around the spine and fore-edge of the book and tie over the back cover with black yarn. Back cover bears the Vigía lantern in collage. — OCLC
