A pretty solid ex-library copy of Willeford's only Western novel, published pseudonymously by Lenox Hill (a Crown division) to avoid competing with his simultaneously released Cockfighter. According to bibliographer Don Herron, the pseudonym was used because Crown wanted to avoid publishing two Willeford titles in the same year.....

First Edition. A particularly nice signed copy of this "short autobiographical account of Willeford's hemorrhoid operation." First Edition. A presentation copy of this Hoke Moseley novel, bound from sheets from the Random House edition, and limited to 99 copies. Willeford died within days of the novel's publication date, making signed copies very hard to come by. It's really hard to understand why copies of this book.....
